STstudio생태제작소

STstudio is a design studio for museums, biennales, and publishers: identities, book design, and exhibition graphics — and websites, designed and developed in-house.

생태제작소(STstudio)는 미술관과 비엔날레, 출판사를 위한 디자인 스튜디오입니다. 아이덴티티와 북디자인, 전시 그래픽을 만들고, 웹사이트는 디자인부터 개발까지 스튜디오 안에서 직접 합니다.

Most projects begin with a long conversation about what an institution wants to hold onto, and what to let go of.

대부분의 프로젝트는 그 기관이 무엇을 지키고 싶고 무엇을 내려놓을지에 대한 긴 대화에서 시작됩니다.

We treat branding, web, and printed matter as different rooms in the same building. The studio operates from Eindhoven and Seoul, with clients in the Netherlands and Korea.

브랜딩과 웹, 인쇄물을 같은 건물의 서로 다른 방처럼 다룹니다. 에인트호번과 서울을 거점으로, 네덜란드와 한국의 클라이언트와 협업합니다.

STstudio is led by its founder, Yirang Ok; for each project she brings in the designers and developers the work needs. Selected personal and editorial work lives at withok.kr.

Yirang Ok is a designer, creative coder, and researcher. She founded STstudio in 2023.

From 2020 to 2023 she was a book designer and production specialist in the publishing department of Ahn Graphics, Paju. The Ahn Graphics books on Editorial & Web are from those years.

She studied communication design at Hongik University (BFA) and completed an MFA in Social Design at Design Academy Eindhoven.

홍익대학교에서 커뮤니케이션디자인을 전공하고(BFA), 디자인 아카데미 에인트호번에서 소셜 디자인 석사(MFA) 과정을 마쳤습니다.
