Moving posters for «Artist Studio Visit» (작가스튜디오탐방), Gwangju Biennale’s research programme on local artists — six monthly sequences from March to August 2022, square, four seconds each.

광주비엔날레 지역작가연구프로그램 «작가스튜디오탐방»의 홍보용 무빙포스터입니다. 2022년 3월부터 8월까지 매달 한 편, 정방형, 각 4초의 6개 시퀀스입니다.

Each visit is drawn as a book holding the artist’s story. A new book every month invites curiosity about the programme, and the book keeps turning to show the artist’s point of view from different angles. The frame stays the same across the series, while each book takes the material, setting and imagery of that artist’s work.

«작가스튜디오탐방»을 작가 이야기가 담긴 책으로 표현했습니다. 매달 공개되는 책은 프로그램을 열어보고 싶은 호기심을, 끊임없이 회전하는 책은 작가의 관점을 여러 각도로 드러냅니다. 같은 형식의 무빙포스터가 작가들을 하나의 프로그램으로 묶지만, 책마다 작품의 소재와 환경, 이미지를 반영해 작가마다의 고유한 매력을 엿볼 수 있습니다.

The books in the films can’t be opened — the artists’ stories are on the Gwangju Biennale YouTube channel.
